Nature of the Site
Stevens County Released Inmates has no government affiliation. It organizes links and instructions for finding Stevens County and Minnesota custody, release, court, and supervision sources. It does not hold official records, confirm custody, release anyone, file documents, or control a public agency. Some links connect to outside research tools.
Acceptable Use
You agree to use the site lawfully and without harming people, systems, or other users. You must not:
- Stalk, harass, threaten, deceive, or unlawfully identify another person
- Use information for hiring, housing, lending, insurance, or another prohibited decision
- Seek access to an account, server, or data without permission
- Run bots, scrapers, or automated collection tools against the site

- Break any local, state, or federal law
No Consumer Reports
The site is not a consumer reporting agency under the Fair Credit Reporting Act and does not supply background checks, credit reports, or consumer reports. Its content and any linked search result may not be used for employment decisions, tenant or housing screening, creditworthiness, insurance pricing, licensing, permits, government-program eligibility, or another purpose regulated by the FCRA. Advertising and search partners do not provide such services through this site.

Partner searches may be incomplete. Custody and release data can change quickly, and nothing here is an official statement by Stevens County, a receiving jail, a court, or Minnesota DOC.
Limits on Liability
To the fullest extent allowed by law, the site's owners and contributors are not liable for direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive loss arising from access, inability to access, reliance on content, or use of an outside service.
Your Duty to Indemnify

Changes and Access
These terms may be changed at any time. A revised version applies when posted. Access may also be limited, suspended, or ended at any time, for any reason and without prior notice.
Minnesota Governing Law
Minnesota law governs these terms without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute must be brought in a court with proper jurisdiction in Minnesota.
Severability
If a court finds one provision invalid or unenforceable, that provision will be adjusted only as much as needed. The remaining provisions continue in effect.
